Duncan Trevella

Duncan is a Christchurch lad who has worked as a trainer and rehabilitation professional with individuals and teams both in NZ and internationally. His specialty is helping to create a plan to suit your lifestyle, focusing on reducing chance of injury and improving resilience.

Duncan's philosophy lies in the combination of strength & conditioning and rehabilitation with superior functional movement patterns. A formula that has promoted well-being and helped his clients reach their fitness goals.

Duncan loves his rugby and is currently running the Strength and Conditioning programme for the Christchurch Rugby Club. He is a Dad to two active youngsters, so understands the importance of balance and family time to support a healthy lifestyle.

Kia ora, My training and coaching philosophy is based on empowering my clients and members with the knowledge and skills to be the best version of themselves. My favourite aspect of working with people is seeing their satisfaction gained by increased movement and activity levels. Whether you are after 1 on 1 personal training, small group classes with friends, or bigger classes and teams, I can cater to range of needs and abilities. I enjoy keeping your programme diverse – whether that be in the gym or out in Elmwood Park.

In my spare time I like to keep active, being involved in a range of sports – rugby, touch, basketball, surfing or just being in the water. I also work with young people, using sport and activity to develop self-confidence and belief in their abilities.
